The house is located in the the old quarter of Valverde, in a square with the same name: "La Picota".

The monument in the square is a Gothic work, wich dates from the beginning of 14th century. It was a justice administration place and symbol of independence when the hamlet was granted the quality of Village.

All those elements that the original house and corrals kept have been recovered in the new construction, spoiling and embellishing the "verata" architecture and the environment that surrounds the building.
